Celia Serrano
Registered Nurse
As a home nurse, I am dedicated to providing personalized care to each patient in their own home. A key part of my job involves monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and blood oxygen levels, which are essential for ensuring the patient's optimal health status.
One of the most important aspects of my work is caring for patients with chronic illnesses like diabetes, hypertension, or kidney failure. I ensure that both patients and their families understand how to manage these conditions and monitor their progress to prevent potential complications.
I also attend to wound healing, whether surgical or chronic, promoting proper healing and preventing infections. Additionally, I assist with mobility and rehabilitation, helping patients perform exercises that enhance their quality of life.
In palliative care situations, my priority is to control pain and provide emotional support to both the patient and their family during such delicate times.
Another cornerstone of my work is educating and advising families so they know how to care for the patient and improve their daily well-being. I maintain continuous monitoring of the patient's health status to promptly detect any signs of deterioration that may require medical intervention.
Ultimately, my goal is to deliver compassionate and professional care, allowing patients to receive the best possible treatment without having to leave their homes.
